The much awaited SSC result of the year 2020 is going to be published soon. If everything continues to be okay, the result of the SSC and equivalent examination will be published before the Holy Eid-ul-Fitr. The secretary to the Secondary & Higher Secondary Education division has confirmed so.
He has also informed that 70% of the result publication process has already been completed. The ministry of education is hoping to complete the rest of the work and publish the SSC result before the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. Although, there is no declaration yet about the result publishing date.
On the day of result publication, Dr. Dipu Moni, the Minister of the Ministry of Education will hand over the result of this year’s SSC and equivalent examination to the Honourable Prime Minister at 10 a.m. The Honourable Prime Minister will then announce the summary of the result in a press conference at 12 p.m. The result will be accessible for the mass people at 2 p.m. The result will be available on two official websites of the Ministry of Education. Other than these, the result will also be available to check from mobile phones through SMS. But due to the coronavirus situation, the result might not be published through the centres this year.
It is to notify that this year’s SSC, Dakhil and equivalent exam started on 4 February and ended on 5 March 2020. The total number of candidates under 8 general education boards, Madrasah education board and technical education board was 20,47,779. Among these, 1,635,240 students from 8 general education boards, 281,254 students from Madrasah Education Board and 131,285 students from technical education board took part in the SSC and equivalent exams.
Though publishing the result within 60 days after the exams are ended has been a tradition for a long time, this time the result has been postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. With this decision of the government, the eager wait of the students is going to be over.
